- 3 cups short-grain sushi rice (cooked & seasoned)
- 8 oz imitation crab meat (shredded)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup mayonnaise (regular or Japanese)
- ¼ cup green onions (chopped)
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare Rice: Cook sushi rice, season with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt, and spread half into a baking dish.
- Mix Filling: Combine crab, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and green onions. Spread over rice layer.
- Layer & Bake: Add the remaining rice on top, press gently, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Add a drizzle of sriracha or sesame oil for extra flavor.
- Garnish with additional green onions or nori strips for an authentic touch.
- Serve warm with seaweed sheets for scooping.
