- 480g Bread Flour (approximately 3.5–4 cups)
- 9g Salt (1.5 teaspoons)
- 3g Instant Yeast (½ teaspoon)
- 360g Water (1.5 cups, at room temperature)
Instructions
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the bread flour, salt, and yeast. Add water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
First Rise: Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours until doubled in size.
Shape the Dough: Turn out onto a floured surface, fold several times, and shape into a round loaf.
Second Rise: Place on parchment paper, cover lightly, and let rise for another 2 hours.
Bake: Preheat your oven with a Dutch oven inside at 450°F (230°C). Place the dough inside, cover, and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
Cool: Let the bread cool on a rack before slicing to enjoy!
