  • Brown Sugar: Packed (¾ cup)
  • Molasses: Unsulfured (½ cup)
  • Egg: (1 large)

Instructions

  • Prepare Dough: Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and molasses.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, and baking soda. Gradually add to wet mixture.
  • Chill Dough: Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Shape & Bake: Roll dough, cut out shapes, and bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until edges set.
  • Cool: Let cookies cool on wire racks.
